The 32nd-annual Texaco Country Showdown is coming! This is WBCU's third year hosting the local showdown, and we hope it will be bigger and better than ever. It will again be held in the USC-Union Auditorium on Friday, May 17th at 6 p.m. There will be a rehearsal/sound check Thursday, May 16th, at 6 p.m. If at all possible, please be there for that. The cutoff for entries is Tuesday, April 30th, at 4 p.m. This will give us enough time to get the programs printed and iron out details. Please prepare two songs and let us know what they are and whether you will be singing with a track or with an instrument. Remember there are bonus points for original music, so keep that in mind if you have songwriting skills.
